Pius Morger was born in Zurich in 1957. He originally received his first vocational training as a carpenter. Between 1981 and 1995, he realized four feature films, credited as both author and director. His professional film education is self-taught. He also worked as a cutter and sound designer. Since 1995, Morger has exclusively worked on creating sound spaces, be it for dance, theater, museums or exhibitions. He has been creating sound sculptures since 2005.
