The pavillon, a glass octagon, is situated right in the middle of the botanical gardens, encircled by the city's pulsating noise. The sound design picks up the rythm of the passing tramways and cars and thus integrates the disturbance intruding from outside. This creates a space of silence. A recurring melody, based on four notes, blends with wind-like whooshing. Breaking through this slow and harmonious space is the sound of clinking crystal glasses, similar to a pearl curtain moving on the wind.
