For this piece, I let myself be inspired by plaster casts of victims who were buried in molten lava in the Roman town of Pompeii. The visitor will not be exposed to the sound of the volcanic eruption, but rather hear a sound image based on the buried people's trauma. The unison of form and subtle electronic sounds aim to create personal visualizations in each visitor's mind's eye.
